The Darling Quarter precinct in Darling Harbour comprises 56,000sqm of office space designed by world-class architects FJMT to house 6,000 CBA employees. It features two buildings with 3,500sqm of retail space and a world class children’s’ playground.
Woking with Lendlease and JLL developed and managed the retail design guideline strategy for the in line with the development vision for the targeted positioning, to differentiate the consumer offer and drive pedestrian footfall traffic and turnover, while ensuring client adherence.
Directed the concept design of 13 new flagship retail premises from 600sqm restaurants to 100sqm general retail shops.
Liaised with 35 external design, architect and branding consultants to produce the retail design guidelines and fitout guide collateral.
Exceeded rentalised income budget by 40%
Managed 100% tenancy variation cost sign-off prior to hand-over.
Realised 100% let tenancy and shop construction complete by opening date.
Continuing on from the relationship built whilst consulting with Lendlease on the development, working closely with JLL’s retail manager to develop strategies to increase retail turnover, maintain rents, and differentiation of the development through active management of the retail design.
